2010 was a nice year. Some of my favorites of 2010 include, R J Garziano Glam Slam 15 piece bangle bracelet set in gold, Chanel Tentation Cuivree Quad, Tart Lights Camera Action Mascara and Chanel Teint Innocence foundation. I enjoyed and used/wore them all year. The bracelets are so fun. You can wear them all at once or mix them up. They do not look cheap and are made well. The Chanel eyeshadow and foundation are the prettiest colors, I wear them for day and evening.
The Tart mascara says it “increases lash volume by 424%. I have not noticed that much of an increase but I love it, it does create dramatic eyelashes. It doesn’t smudge or come off during the day in little black dots like some other mascara’s do.
OPI Party Hearty Swatch
Adding a little sparkle to my nails puts a smile on my face. OPI’s party hearty is the o so fun holiday treat. In this photo I used it as a top coat over “frosty” it also looks fabulous over mistletoe green and ruby deer red.
Although the sparkles are a pain to remove they are definitely worth the hassle. So go for! Have fun and put a smile on your face!
Ran into my local Walgreens the other day and saw a bin of Sinful Colors nail polishes. There were so many it was hard to decide.
I have been on the look out for sparkle and shine for the holidays and for this cheap find this will be fun to wear for a couple of parties during the holidays.
Base is Out of this World and top is Silver Sparkle.

I finally found some nail goodies for Halloween. In the photos above I have on 1. China Glaze Fortune Teller a 2009 color 2. Nina Dark Secret with Finger Paints Clear Multi Glitter and Blue Glitter 3. Nina Dark Secret with just Finger Paints Blue Glitter and 4. China Glaze Mummy May I. I like them all, I am a glitter freak anyway so these are all fun.
With only a little over a week left until Halloween I will have to change up the colors to get them all in. Have fun with your nails! Halloween is a great time to do it!

I am disappointed, no fun nail polishes or things for Halloween? Dang, no fun. OPIs goth colors are just boring and China Glaze Awakenings is okay but I was looking for more dazzle. Last year I bought China Glaze Fortune Teller, I like it but it is globby now and I wanted something new and fun for this October.
I think I’ll run out at lunch and see what China Glaze’s Mummy May I looks like although it seems like this is the only Halloween color everyone else likes to, having a hard time finding it 
I’ll let you know what I find and post it here.
At least OPI and China Glaze came out with something for Halloween, everyone else is lame!

HUE Diamond Pattern Black Tight
So many styles and prints this fall, YAY! Fall wear is in full force at all the shops – hats, gloves, scarves, and yes TIGHTS. This season promises to be a fun year with tights – so many colors, patterns, and textures.
Recently I checked out the latest tights at Target, Belk’s, Bloomingdales, and Macys. There are so many different patterns and textures to choose from, it’s hard to pick. For now, I decided on Merona’s black opaque tights, the ribbed tight in black and the argyle print black tights. From HUE I purchased the diamond tight, and Kate Spade drop needle sweater tights – love love!

Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray
I’m from the beloved big hair era and was always on the lookout for super hold hair spray to hold the style in my fine hair. Back in the 80s stiff was in so Aqua Net worked perfectly. Today is another story; stiff is definitely not the look I want.
I’ve tried many sprays, it only takes a couple of minutes to know if the spray is worthy of holding my hair (if the spray is too weak I can see my hair go from curly to straight in a matter of minutes). The one spray that works without fail is Paul Mitchell’s Freeze and Shine Super Spray.
The spray is fine, creates a shine, and holds my hair all day and the smell is nice and neutral.
Chanel le Crayon Khol Blanc Eye Pencil
Some mornings I have to face the music, I am still tired and I look it. A couple of months ago I was walking by the Chanel counter and saw white eye liner; I had to turn around and check it out. I used white eye liner many years ago and somehow forgot about this little trick to make your eyes look bigger, awake, and healthy, funny how you can just forget about a product.
I tried the sample on at the Chanel counter and immediately saw a difference. I purchased it and have been wearing it ever since. I love having this little secret trick to grab on those days I am still sleepy and my eyes are telling everyone I am too.
Chanel Glossimer
The first day of fall has passed and gone and it’s still 93 outside, it’s getting ridiculous. This summer’s heat has forced me to find new ways to keep my body and makeup fresh all day. I thought I’d share a couple of my tips with you, if it is finally cool where you live, save these tips for next summer.
Tip 1: Keep a retractable lidded beauty brush loaded with face powder in your purse at all times. If you find yourself glistening in the middle of the day just pull your brush out and sweep it over you face, problem solved.
Tip 2: Keep a fresh perfume sample in your purse. The samples I keep in my purse are usually scents that smell bubbly and fresh, like you just took a bath. When I stock up on beauty products at Nordstrom I always ask for samples. If you can’t find samples, or don’t want to ask, Sephora carries concentrated smallish samples of great bubbly clean scents like Philosophy’s Eternal Grace.
Tip 3: Wear as little make up as possible except for the lips, wear a lip gloss like Chanel’s Glossimer, you then look like you meant to look the way you do – a little glisten, smelling good, and sparkly lips – the perfect look!
Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue
Tinker Bell released today and no Tinker Bell related make up or finger nail polish collections? WHAT? That’s just wrong. If anyone should have at the very least a finger nail polish collection from OPI or someone it should be Tinker Bell.
I’m gonna celebrate with my own products I think are befitting the best fairy of all! Here’s what I suggest in celebration of Tink’s new movie!
- You must have sparkle, duh! So let’s start with Makeup Forever’s Glitter – Add to and around the eyes.
- For the nails I suggest Tinker Bell green, Zoya in Invanka, or just a sparkly gold like Tink’s fairy dust, Zoya in Glimmer.
