e.l.f. is an American brand of super affordable products. The price is so good, you may doubt the quality. But then you’d be wrong because the quality is wonderful! The blushes, bronzers and eyeshadows have rich colors. And the brushes are super soft.
e.l.f. cleverly stands for Eyes, Lips and Face. They have a full line of makeup, nail polish and brushes. Besides the good price and the fact that they do not test on animals, the company also supports with several charities.
In this post, I show three brushes that I love. They were bought separately, but e.l.f. also sells kits.
e.l.f.Essential Foundation Brush – The first is the classic foundation brush also known as cat’s tongue brush due to its shape. As you can see below, it has a flattened shape and firm bristles. A tip for using this brush effectively: start applying foundation in the center of the face moving outwards. This wonderful brush can also be used to apply concealer.
e.l.f. Studio Small Stipple Brush – The duo fiber brush is ideal for liquid or powder. Leaves a smooth, natural finish, because the mixed bristles. This one is smaller than conventional duo fiber brushes, perfect for applying concealer around the eye area and around the nose. It’s small size makes it easier to reach most places.
e.l.f. Essential Smudge Eye Sponge – And finally the sponge which is used to blur traces of eyeliner and eyeshadow. It has a conic shape and feels like a rubberband. Many people might think this is an unnecessary item, but it’s what I use most. I love to draw a line around the eyes with eyeliner almost every day, and smudge it to leave and smokey effect. The Smudge Sponge seemlessly blends the eyeliner to leave a more natural look.
The foundation brush and blending sponge cost $ 1.00 each and the duo fiber brush costs only $ 3.00.
Good price and great products right?
